Mr. Vakhtang Zaalishvili is an Associate Professor at New Vision University. He holds an academic degree of a Candidate of Legal Science from the Tbilisi State University (TSU). Currently he also teaches at Caucasus University (Associate Professor since 2014) and Black Sea University (Invited Lecturer since 2015). He is also a co-author and editor of "Employment Law - Collection of Articles" (TSU, 2014). Mr. Zaalishvili has been an Associate Professor at the TSU Faculty of Law (2008-2010); a Legal Expert at Georgian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre - GEPLAC (1998-2005), a member of the editorial board of Georgian Law Review (1998-2005) and an adviser at International Legal Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia (1997-1998).
Dr. Kiphiani joined BP Legal in September 2007; he Is responsible for provision of legal support to BP Tbilisi branch; He has been working as the Head of Legal Department of the National Bank of Georgia for the last 2 years; Has 12 years standing work experience in banking; Held various leading positions in both private and public (administrative) sectors; Is the author of laws and various amendments which have been adopted and enforced by the Parliament of Georgia; Holds a PhD from the Tbilisi State University; The Theses was drafted and developed during his stay at the John Marshall Law School (Chicago, USA) where he was a visiting scholar in 2000-2002. Is an author of several researches/articles in banking law.

In 2002 Ms. Surmava graduated from the Ivane Javakhisvhili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of International Law and International Relations, majoring in International Law, with honors. In 2013, was awarded a PhD degree in Law at the Tbilisi State University, and LLM in the EU law (2005) at the Stockholm University (Sweden); Is a holder of various international scholarships, amongst them: Swedish Institute, University of Lodz and etc.; Is an alumni of Fund for Development and Reforms, under the President of Georgia; Currently is the Head of International Relations Division at the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia; Research fields: EU institutional law, competition law, legal approximation/harmozation.
