Holds an MD diploma from the Tbilisi State Medical University (Georgia 2003), a PhD degree in Ophthalmology (Georgia 2006); Is an alumni of Salzburg Cornell medical seminars (Austria 2013); Fellowship in “Medical retina and diagnostic methods” at LMU Eye Clinic in Munich (Germany 2012); Worked at GBT International Medical College (2006 -2007); Has been working for Chichua Eye Clinic Mzera as an ophthalmologist since 2007; Is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology since 2009 at the University “Gograsali” (Georgia).

Holds a MD diploma from the Tbilisi State Medical University, Department of Therapy (1994-2001); In 2002-2005 attended full internship course at the same university, majoring in Hematology; in 2009 was awarded a Ph.D degree in medicine by decision of the Dissertation Board of Medical Department of the Tbilisi State Medical University; Since 2005 is a member of the Georgian society for Hematology and Tranfusiology; Has been working for Martin D. Abeloff Center research Center as a doctor hematologist (2012 - to present); Since 2009 is the Head of the Hematology Department, a lab-assistant and an invited lecturer for the English and Georgian sector students; Also worked as a doctor hematologist at Mukhadze Institute for Hematology and Transfusiology (2005-2012).

Holds a PhD in Biology from the Tbilisi State University, Georgia; Is a Professor of Immunology at the Tbilisi State Medical University since 2006 and the Head of the Department of Biomedicine at the Institute of Medical Biotechnology since 2012; Is a Board member of the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology since 2004.

Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2000); PhD thesis was prepared at the Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University, Israel (2002-2003); PhD degree was awarded by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biological Physics (2004); Was a post-doctoral fellow at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany (2005); Received many awards and grants from various international and local organizations.
