The School of Medicine at New Vision University has Elected a New Dean

 

On May 17th the Council of the School of Medicine at New Vision University elected Khatuna Saganelidze as a Dean.

 

Khatuna Saganelidze holds a PhD degree from Tbilisi State Medical University (2006). Since 2008 she is a medical rehabilitation expert at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. Since 2014 Khatuna Saganelidze is an expert at the LEPL – National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement on the accreditation of the medical programs of the Higher Medical Education Institutions. Since 2016 she has been the head of the strategic development unit at New Vision University. Khatuna Saganelidze is the founder of the Organization for supporting the patients with osteogenesis imperfecta and the head of the council. She is also the founder of the Hippotherapy Association and the head of the Council. Khatuna Saganelidze has participated is more than forty international and national trainings and conferences. She is also the author of the two books, as well as the author of the dozens of scientific papers.  

 

The new Dean presented a plan of action, as well as the new projects. She also plans to continue current local and international projects of the School of Medicine.
