Seminar on Corporate Profit Tax

 

On May 13-14 New Vision University hosted two-day seminar dedicated to the new system of Corporate Profit Tax in Georgia that will probably come into effect from January 1st 2017. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Ruslan Akhalaia, Chief Lawyer at Dechert Georgia LLP.

 

All key aspects of the new profit tax system of Georgia was discussed at the training, including: tax-payers, tax base for Georgian and non-Georgian tax-residents and permanent establishments, tax treatment of payments (loans, advance payments, etc.) to individuals and offshore entities.

 

The new system of Corporate Profit Tax in Georgia will probably come into effect from January 1st, 2017.
