Public lecture series at New Vision University

 

Series of November public lectures were finished by Matthias Theodor Vogt public lecture which began by Akaki Beridze’s public lecture on “The Obligation to Protect the Environment during the International and National Conflicts” and Archil Tsertsvadze’s lecture on “Creditor and Shareholder Protection – Comparative Analysis of EU and US Legal Systems”. Akaki Beridze spoke about the meaning of protecting environment during local and global conflicts. Archil Tsertsvadze’s public lecture aimed to compare EU and US Legal Systems in order to show concrete issues. Well-known German historian, culturologist and cultural politics researcher Matthias Theodor Vogt held a public lecture on Armenian Genocide. Professor spoke about major narratives on Armenian Genocide. As he highlighted, there are two different versions of this story in the Armenian and Turkish school books.  Dr. Vogt proposed that the only way this question can be answered is through comprising different narratives and rational analysis.  Public lectures were attended by New Vision University students and interested persons.
