Public Lecture on US Presidential Elections 2016

 

On Thursday, February 25th, New Vision University hosted a public lecture by Mrs. Julie Giorgadze on the topic: 

"I, the President of the United States of America - The ways to get to the White House in 2016".

 

The presentation covered the issues related to US Presidential Elections 2016:

 

  • The basics of the presidential elections, the date, number of candidates, major rules and regulations;

  • What is it there to fight for – rights and responsibilities of the POTUS; 

  • How does it work – the nomination, motives, campaign teams, campaign finances and fundraising, slogans, primaries; 

  • Who is in the battle – current presidential candidates and their profiles; 

  • Where does Georgia stand – Foreign policy priorities and us.
