Professor Stein's visit and Lecture on European Defense Policy at New Vision University

 

On October 5-8, Professor Dr.Torsten Stein, University of Saarland (Germany) will be visiting New Vision University.

 

Prof. Dr. Torsten Stein was director of the Europa-Institut from 1991 to 2012, holder of the chair for European law and European public law at Saarland University and is still active at the Europa-Institut. Professor Stein has been a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign Public and International Law in Heidelberg. He was appointed professor at the University of Heidelberg in 1986. Professor Stein was managing director and commentator for the International Committee of the International Law Association (ILA), he is chairman of the German branch of the International Law Association (ILA) as well as honorary treasurer and member of the Executive Council of the ILA. He is a member of numerous national, foreign and international legal societies.

 

During his visit at New Vision University, Prof. stein will deliver a lecture on “The Common Security and Defense Policy – Europe as a global player?” for the students of New Vision University Schools of Diplomacy and Politics, as well as the law students and other interested young professionals. He will also meet the management of the University and discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the two Universities.
