New Vision University Team in International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition, Vienna

 

New Vision University team participated in a final stage of the 22nd Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition, in Vienna, Austria. 

 

New Vision University Vis Moot Team members: George Kharaishvili, George Kilasonia, Rusudan Otiashvili and Beka Papashvili  had four pleadings with the teams from University of Harvard (USA), University of Bonn (Germany), Wuhan University (China) and Pontific Catholic University of Rio De Janeiro (Brazil). During oral pleadings, the team members presented their positions prepared on the issues related to the hot topics of international commercial arbitration and international sale of goods. New Vision University Team received very positive feedback from the arbitrators. 

 

The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is annually held from 1994 and is considered as one of the most prestigious competition between law students worldwide. Nearly 300 teams from different universities participated in 22nd Vis Moot.
