Knowledge Triangle in Action

 

A joint scientific project of New Vision University, New Vision University Hospital, and the Iv.Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine - "Detection of extracellular ubiquitin level fluctuations in the serum of cancerous patients" won the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation funding. Looking for the early cancer diagnosis methods is currently a very active field of research. It is possible that the research becomes a prerequisite for opening new strategies in cancer diagnostics. Scientific director of the project Rusudan Sujashvili is the professor at the New Vision University School of Medicine and senior scientist at the Iv.Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine as well as the group leader of the cellular biophysics.
