For the enrollment of students without sitting Unified National Examinations/Unified Master’s Examinations the NVU will apply to the Legal Entity of Public Law – National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement, which will review the application within a period of 1 month and provide for forwarding the application and relevant documents to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia(MES).

 

The Department for the Enhancement of Higher Education and Science of the MES will provide the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia with recommendations. Within a period of 7 days following the submission of recommendations the Minister will make a decision on granting the right to an entrant/applicant for a Master’s programme/student to study at a higher educational institution without sitting Unified National Examinations/Unified Master’s Examinations. An individual administrative act of the Minister will be immediately sent to the respective higher education institution and published on the official web-page of the MES.

 

The manager of the higher education institution is required to ensure the enrollment of entrants/applicants for Master’s programmes/students, enjoying the right to study therein without sitting Unified National Examinations/Unified Master’s Examinations within a period of one year in a manner as to ensure the admission to the person concerned to the academic process and attainment of the learning outcomes according to the procedure, envisaged by law.
