India's Republic Day at New Vision University

 

On January 28th, Indian students at New Vision University initiated an event dedicated to India's Republic Day.

 

Ten students prepared presentations about Indian history, culture and traditions for the audience of Georgian and foreign students. The representatives of University administration evaluated the presentations and selected the two best speakers - Vishnu Priya Darshini and Bakht Singht Kennedy  to be awarded with the Certificates of the "Student Ambassador of India" at New Vision University.

 

Presentation of Vishnu Priya Darshini was dedicated to "Bharatiya Samskriti in scientific approach", while Bakht Singh Kennedy presented "8 Common Indian Traditions" from the perspective of a hypothetical Georgian traveler in India.

 

The event received a very positive feedback from the students. Currently there are students from about twenty countries enrolled in different programs at New Vision University. Representatives of other countries will also arrange similar event in the nearest future to represent culture and traditions of their countries.
