Public Debates on Higher Education

 

One of the main priorities of the New Vision University is further enhancement of regional cooperation with higher educational institutions, meaning the interchange of mutually valuable information, implementation of joint activities for further enhancement of educational quality, improvement of public confidence in higher educational institutions and continuous care for increased competitiveness.

 

To this end the New Vision University is participating in the joint project of the Foundation – Open Society – Georgia and Foundation International Educational Centre – Public Debates on Higher Education.

 

Within the frame of this Project the discussion was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Batumi) on 20 November 2014, focusing on the following main topics:

• Quality assurance and research;

• Funding and accessibility of higher education.
