NVU Students in Martkopi Forest Cleaning Campaign

 

On April 24, New Vision University students organized a cleaning campaign in the forest around Martkopi Monastery - a touristic destination in the region.

 

Event was organized in less than a day, following the initiative of Georgian photographer and traveler, Goga Chanadiri. Along with Georgian students, a number of international students also eagerly joined the campaign (25 people in total).

 

After several hours of work, students, together with the volunteers from local public school, collected almost two hundred bags of plastic waste. 

 

Volunteers and especially foreign students received very warm feedback from local population and later in social networks. New Vision University greatly appreciates students' efforts they put into keeping to keep Georgia's nature attractive.
